As others here have mentioned, it's quite expensive for what you get as it appears to be very cheaply made. But it's a classic design and it does (so far, at least) keep good time.But my main bug-bear with it is that it's SO NOISY. I have it in my home office and the cheap, plastic rattling sound it constantly made was actually quite distracting, so much so that I was about to remove it. But I decided to have a look at what the actual issue was, and it appears that it's where the pegs at the top and bottom of the eyeballs sit into the body. With the aid of a long toothpick I managed to get some very light grease (I used Molykote 55) into where the eyeball pivots sit, and that made an incredible difference. It's sooooo quiet now.I've given it an overall 5 stars because I'm so happy wit it now, but if the grease hadn't cured the noise problem I think I'd struggle to have given it 3 stars.

The media could not be loaded. My husband gave me as a bday present and I couldn't be happier! Although it is plastic the quality is ok and keeps time accurately. It makes a bit of noise but nothing loud that you can't watch telly or talk to someone without being distracted. It is so so beautiful, I am very happy with it. Just make sure to follow the instructions and the clock will work perfectly.

Absolutely ❤️this clock 🐾❤️🐾. If I ever won the lottery I would buy all my friends and family one 😂. Makes us laugh every time we see it! If you look side on at him he looks like he’s rolling his eyes at you. 😂At first glance you could think, mmm plastic? Quite small? As iconic as the clock is i am disappointed with the quality of this product. The profit they must make on this is insane. The idea is better than the reality. Cheaply made and poorly executed. Side note is that i had purchased this as a gift and as you can see from the pictures the seller really let me down. Please for future customers put the item in a box and not raw dog it through the mailing system.

Its quite expensive for a novelty clock, which I purchased as a gift. It arrived the next day (good) but with new batteries only told the time without the eyes and tail movement (bad). So I purchased new new batteries. Still no joy. Rather than send the product back, I drilled down on the website, and found this to be a common problem. Fixes include new batteries (check) and then checking the linkages (check check). What I found was the electromagnet which is wired in to the battery holder was rattling around (still wired in) into the bottom of the clock. With a bit of contorting and care (remember its all a bit flimsy) I 'clipped' the electromagnet circle into its alloted place. When I say 'clipped', there are no clips (probably why it fell out in the first place) and so more 'balanced' would be better. If this doesn't hold, then I will return the clock, as it should be glued.So in summary, a classic piece of Americana, built like American products seem to be nowadays, and the shine of the gift was somewhat removed by having to fix a brand new item. Its now hanging on the wall by the stairs waiting for the kids to come home and see it working!

Really nice clock. The tick is a bit loud compared to what else is in the house but apart from that, nothing negative at all.Has nostalgic value so it makes it even better

The media could not be loaded. It’s very cute and makes my room look even cooler. It sounds nice instead of sitting in silence. Works well and wasn’t as hard to put together as some reviews say. Altogether I love it I’m very happy :D( written by my daughter as it’s her’s )
